Print advertising across the Philadelphia region
Newspapers, magazines, mail and brochures that bring local readers to your door, placed by a ranking process built around your goals.
Plan a print campaign
Print is where a local business can still own the page. A newspaper ad, a community magazine, a mailer or a brochure lands in the hands of people who live near you and read what arrives. The problem is choosing. Every paper has a price list and a pitch. We score each publication on readership, price and how well its readers match your customers, then use those scores to negotiate, so your budget goes further with the readers who matter to you.
The Philadelphia region has a deep local press. The dailies include the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Bucks County Courier Times, the Delaware County Daily Times, the Daily Local News and the Courier-Post, alongside business titles and community papers. Not all of them are worth your money. You get your ad in front of local readers where your customers live, at a price that reflects its worth to you.
Here is how we decide. We score publications on readership and price, and on how well the readers match your customers and how good the placement is. The score is weighted to your goals, so filling an event counts differently than winning over suburban homeowners. We use the scores in the negotiation, so your budget goes further with the readers who matter to you.
Print also includes direct mail and brochures. A postcard to chosen homes does a different job than a newspaper ad. We plan, design and place all of it, and we can handle the table tents, flyers and counter cards that sit in a restaurant, a lobby or a showroom. You get one message that shows up the same way in the mailbox, on the page and at the counter.
Our work for Chickie’s & Pete’s includes print ads for events like a New Year’s Eve countdown and a 35th-anniversary block party, along with table tents, flyers, counter cards and press placements. Villari Brandes & Giannone, Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School, Franklin Auto Spa and Recall Advantage all appear in our print work too. You get a copy of every piece that ran, built to fit the page it ran on.

How we buy it
- What we buy
- Newspaper and magazine space, direct mail, brochures and table tents, flyers and counter cards, planned and placed against your goals.
- Where it runs
- Regional dailies and community titles, such as the Philadelphia Inquirer, Bucks County Courier Times, The Intelligencer, Delaware County Daily Times, Daily Local News and Courier-Post, plus business and neighborhood publications.
- How we negotiate
- We score each publication on readership, price and how well the readers match your customers, weighted to your goals, and use the scores to negotiate price and placement.
- What you get back
- A ranked view of the publications we considered, the placements we booked and a copy of each ad as it ran, so you know your budget went to the readers you chose.
“The folks over at Baldini Communications are our first call when we are ready to promote the multitude of events, new product launches, or any new locations we open here at Chickie’s.”
What you get
- You choose publications by a score built around your goals, not the loudest pitch.
- Your budget goes further with the readers who matter, because scores back the price we ask for.
- You get in front of local readers in the towns where your customers live.
- You get print, mail and brochures planned together, so one message shows up everywhere.
- You get design, placement and copies of what ran from one team, so deadlines hold.
How a campaign runs
- 1 We start by learning what you are promoting, who should see it and what the piece has to do.
- 2 We list the publications and mailing lists that match that audience and score them against your goals.
- 3 We use the scores to negotiate price and placement, then bring you the plan with the reasons.
- 4 We design the ad, mailer or brochure and send it for your approval before it goes to press.
- 5 We place the buy, collect a copy of each ad as it ran and review the results with you.

Print Advertising: common questions
Does print advertising still work for local businesses?
It can, when it is aimed well. Regional dailies, community magazines and direct mail still reach readers who live near you and who tend to act on local offers. It works less well as a scattershot buy. That is why we score publications first, then spend where the fit is strongest. If print is not right for your goal, we will say so.
How does your print scoring process work?
We rate each publication on readership and price, and on how well its readers match your customers and how good the placement is. We weight those to your goals, then rank the options. The scores become part of the negotiation. When a publication asks for a price, we can show how it compares with the others we considered.
Which newspapers and magazines do you place ads in?
It depends on your audience and your county. The region has the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Bucks County Courier Times, The Intelligencer, the Delaware County Daily Times, the Daily Local News, the Courier-Post and many community and business titles. We choose the ones that fit your goals and are worth the price, and we negotiate each buy on its own.
Can you handle direct mail and brochures as well?
Yes. We plan, design and place direct mail and brochures along with newspaper and magazine space. A postcard to a chosen set of homes and a brochure for your sales team do jobs an ad cannot. Planning them together means the look, the offer and the timing match across every piece your customer sees.
Do you design the ad, or only place it?
We do both. Graphic design is part of our work, and we design ads, mailers, brochures, table tents, flyers and counter cards. You approve the design before it goes to press. If you already have artwork, we will check that it meets each publication’s specifications and fits the plan. Doing design and placement together also keeps deadlines from slipping between two vendors.
What do I get to see when the campaign is done?
You get a copy of every ad as it ran and a summary of what ran, where and when. We review it with you and talk about what to keep for the next round. We do not offer invented performance figures. We show you what was booked and what appeared, so you can judge for yourself.
